Lady Giants Shine on the Road at Springfield

The Fremont Ross Lady Giants basketball team put together an impressive road performance this past Friday, earning a convincing 72–21 victory over Springfield. The win moves the Lady Giants to 3–2 overall on the season and 2–0 in the Cardinal Division of the Northern Lakes League.
Fremont Ross set the tone early and maintained steady pressure on both ends of the floor throughout the night. Balanced scoring helped fuel the effort, with Brynn Ward leading the way with 16 points, followed closely by Charity Crowe with 15 points and Sarai Oman adding 14. Karina Hensinger chipped in with 8 points as the Lady Giants showcased their depth and teamwork.
Head Coach Juan Vela was pleased with how his young squad handled the road environment, noting that the team is beginning to come together. While encouraged by the progress, Vela also emphasized that there is still work to be done as the season moves forward.
The Lady Giants will return home tomorrow night to the Purple Pit to take on the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes. The Junior Varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM, followed by the Varsity contest. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Lady Giants.
