Carroll's Complete Game Powers The Little Giants Past Springfield

The Fremont Ross Little Giants varsity baseball team earned a strong 5-1 victory over Springfield on Monday, putting together a complete performance on both sides of the ball.
Fremont Ross got on the board early in the bottom of the first inning, as Myles Carroll drove in a run with a groundout to give the Little Giants an early lead. They added to their advantage in the second inning when Max Durnwald came through with an RBI single blooped over the shortstop's head and into shallow left center.
The Little Giants continued to build momentum in the third inning, plating two more runs behind RBI singles from Carson Burkett and Cam Joseph to extend their lead and take control of the game.
On the mound, Myles Carroll was outstanding, earning the win with a dominant complete-game performance. Carroll allowed just three hits and one run over seven innings while striking out nine and walking three, keeping Springfield hitters off balance all night.
Offensively, Fremont Ross saw contributions up and down the lineup. Carroll, Burkett, Joseph, Breylen Garza, Durnwald, Dylan McDonald, and Dawson Berndt each recorded a hit. Burkett, Joseph, Garza, and Durnwald all drove in runs to support the scoring effort. The fleet of foot Durnwald also made an impact on the basepaths, swiping two bases as the Little Giants totaled four stolen bases in the game.
With a balanced attack at the plate and a dominant outing on the mound, the Little Giants secured an impressive win and continue to build momentum this season.
Great win, Little Giants!
