Little Giants Gritty 3-2 Win Over Findlay

The Fremont Ross boys tennis team picked up a big 3-2 victory over Findlay earlier this week in a tightly contested match that showcased the Little Giants’ toughness and strategic adjustments.
One of the key moves came in the lineup, as Carson Lewis was shifted from #2 doubles to #3 singles—a decision that proved pivotal in securing the team win. Lewis delivered once again, continuing what has been an outstanding season. Now sitting at 16-2 on the year, his only losses have come against Anthony Wayne and a hard-fought three-set match versus Southview.
Lewis has consistently demonstrated a strong mental edge on the court, competing with focus, determination, and confidence. His composure and ability to battle back in matches have made him a reliable force in the lineup and a major contributor to the team’s success.
The victory over Findlay marked the final NLL match of the season, giving Ross valuable team points heading into next week’s tournament play. The Little Giants now stand at 8-6 overall and 6-4 in the NLL, including a 3-2 mark in the Cardinal Division.
With postseason competition right around the corner, Ross is trending in the right direction and gaining confidence at the right time.
The team is also set to host a tournament later today against seven other area teams, weather permitting. The Little Giants will look to continue building momentum and sharpen their play as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
